The monastery "St. Sanctorum” is a chapel of the metropolis in Craiova. The wooden church was built in 1784 by the monk Daniil of the monastery Tismana in Talpasheshti, Gorj district - his birthplace. Over the years the church has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. In 1975 it was moved to Craiova from Theoctistus. From 1976 it is the Chapel of the Metropolitan in Craiova.
