Traditional celebrations and festivals in Varshets

Holiday of the resort “Mineral water and the Balkan” – a traditional holiday, which each year honors the healing power of the mineral water and the beautiful nature is carried out every second week of August, the festivals and the events continue for 7 days. As part of the festive programme a children’s show is organized, a competition for children in master driving of bicycles, competition for children drawing on asphalt, rock and folk concerts, outdoor painting event featuring artists from the region, football and volleyball tournaments, alley of crafts, sport orientation competition, concerts of popular singers, folklore festival "Balkan is singing".
